The bulk of the fieldwork was carried out between February 14 and December 21, 2012, under the direction of Francis J. Trautman, RPA, Principal Investigator for TCCRC and primary author of this report. Alfred B. Jones served as Field Director for the survey crew and oversaw day-to-day coordination between TCCRC and MCD staff, including scheduling and security clearances. Buster was assisted by Dorothy Dash; Dot maintained the collection of GPS data and other electronic media in the field. Sheila R. Pennywhistle is TCCRC’s lead architectural historian.
TCCRC’s field effort was assisted by our support staff in of Roswell Junction field office. Efti Mandala, GIS Specialist for TCCRC, produced the bulk of the figures for this report. Otis Dinklelacker, Laboratory Director, oversaw the processing, analysis, and curation preparation for all artifacts, as well as composed the tabular data for this technical report. Our zooarchaeologist is Ms. Kate Woodland. Paleobotanical samples were processed by Sage P. Freebush. The report was edited and produced by Chico Manuel with a final layout by Holly Gestalt.
Invaluable assistance and information to the TCCRC staff was also provided by the local Native American monitors, as provided by Chief Brown Chicken Brown Cow of the Spanktomie Reservation. TCCRC would also like to thank Mr. Samuel Tio, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, El Paso District, Mr. Rory Calhoun MCD Security Manager, Ms. Lily Corona, MCD Health and Safety Liaison, Mr. C.
